Contents

Course objectives: International economic policymakers face mounting challenges from geopolitical conflict, trade wars, technological change, and the rapid expansion of digital markets. This seminar focuses on economic topics related to international trade and multinational activity, digitalization and platform economics, digital sovereignty, international taxation, and urban economics. We develop ideas for your presentations and theses.

Additional information

Grading: Exposé (50%): The expos´e outlines the topic, context, and contribution to relevant literature. Presentation (50%): Each seminar participant will present their topic, context, literature, empirical methodology, and if available, first findings. Attendance and active participation are expected from all participants in all sessions.
